Moroccan King Mohammed VI on Tuesday granted pardon to 510 prisoners, official news agency MAP said.

The announcement came as Morocco marked the Islamic Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.

Mohammed VI granted his pardon to 510 people, some in prison and others on bail, added the agency.
