Number of fully COVID-19 vaccinated Kenyans nears 860,000 mark

Kenya’s number of fully COVID-19 vaccinated persons is now nearing the 860,000 mark.

The country’s health ministry on Saturday announced that it had vaccinated a total of 3,337,913 people.

Broken down to, 2,480,543 people had taken the first dose while 857,370 had received the full dose.

At the same time, the ministry announced that a total of 515 people had tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday raising the total number of COVID-19 cases to 246,296.

Data released also showed that a total of 236,803 patients had recovered while the number of fatalities rose to 4,980.
