Rwanda continues to receive more COVID-19 vaccine doses.

The country’s health ministry has today announced that through military cooperation between Rwanda and Greece, the country received 200,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine doses.

On September 2, Rwanda received a shipment of 108,000 doses of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 single-shot vaccine as part of 2,191,000 doses that the government purchased through Africa Vaccine Acquisition Trust (AVAT)

Rwanda has thus far recorded 89,167 positive novel coronavirus and 1,113 deaths.
