Public voting is underway to select the winner of the 2021 China-Africa Video and Photo Competition. Photographers and storytellers from across Africa and China submitted more than 2,000 videos and photos for the competition.

A panel of judges narrowed that number down to just 90 entries, half of which are from Africa, with the other half being Chinese.

Starting now through September 5, YOU can help decide the best of the best of this year’s competition.

Check out the official contest website to view the dazzling pieces that are in the running for this year’s top prize. Browse the categories to pick your favorite from the various still photos, short videos and ‘micro videos’ that have been selected as finalists.

Remember that you can only vote for one selection per day, so choose wisely and don’t hesitate to cheer on your favorite contestants on social media so more voters can have their say.
