Uganda's Joshua Cheptegei wins men's 5,000m gold at Tokyo Olympics VCG

Uganda’s Joshua Cheptegei clinched the title of men’s 5,000m race with 12 minutes and 58.15 seconds on Friday at Tokyo 2020.

Cheptegei was the silver medalist of the men’s 10,000m at the Tokyo Olympics.

Mohammed Ahmed of Canada finished second with 12:58.61, Paul Chelimo of the United States took bronze with 12:59.05.
