Kenya’s COVID-19 cases cross 200,000 mark

Kenya’s health ministry has on Thursday announced that it has recorded 1,068 new coronavirus cases, raising the country’s total tally to 201,009 cases.

398 people have recovered from the disease, 255 from Home Based and Isolation Care while 143 are from various health facilities countrywide.

The number of total recoveries is now at 188,222. 150,043 from Home Based Care and Isolation while 38,179 are from various health facilities.

Unfortunately, 15 people have succumbed to the disease. Total fatalities from COVID-19 now stand at 3,910.

A total of 1,707,734 COVID-19 vaccines had been administered across the country, 1,055,341 being first doses while 647,393 are second doses.
