Kenya records 452 COVID-19 cases, total infections now at 187,977

Kenya’s health ministry has on Friday announced that it has recorded 452 new coronavirus cases, raising the country’s total tally to 187,977 cases.

1,327 people have recovered from the disease, 1,272 from Home Based and Isolation Care while 55 are from various health facilities countrywide.

The number of total recoveries is now at 177,783. 141,858 from Home Based Care and Isolation while 35,925 are from various health facilities.

Unfortunately, 2 people have succumbed to the disease. Total fatalities from COVID-19 now stand at 3,718.

A total of 1,530,551 COVID-19 vaccines had been administered across the country, 1,025,427 being first doses while 505,124 are second doses.
