Over 2,500 Kenyans vaccinated with 2nd COVID-19 vaccine dose


Kenya on Friday announced that a total of 2,541 people have been inoculated with their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

A total of 974,000 people have been vaccinated against the disease.

The country’s ministry of health also announced that it has recorded 284 new coronavirus cases, raising the country’s total tally to 171,942 cases.

According to the Ministry of Health, 124 people have recovered from the disease bringing the total tally to 117,469.

Total fatalities from COVID-19 now stand at 3,240 after 17 deaths were reported on Friday.
