Two dead, 5 injured after five mortar shells hit Mogadishu in Somalia

At least two people have been killed and five others injured in a mortar shell attack targeted at the Halane base camp in Mogadishu, Somalia.

The victims are members of a family near the camp which houses the United Nations, European Union, AMISOM offices and other foreign missions in Mogadishu.

Somali leaders are meeting in the same compound to end a months-long political impasse surrounding the polls.
