
Equatorial Guinea State Television reports that the number of casualties from Sunday’s deadly explosions at a military camp in Equatorial Guinea is now up to 30.
Ten more bodies were found among the ruins. The government expects more bodies will be recovered.

Over six hundred people were injured in the series of explosions that rocked Equatorial Guinea’s commercial hub, Bata, on Sunday, leaving the city covered in a huge plume of smoke.
Officials in Equatorial Guinea have appealed for international help following the explosions. With the country’s president saying the cause of the blasts was “negligence” at a military base.
