A Tuesday accident saw six people including a pregnant woman lose their lives after an ambulance they were in hit a landmine in Northern Burkina Faso.

The government explained that the woman’s husband, a girl and two other women were being transported in the ambulance between the towns of Gaskindé and Namissiguia, near Burkina Faso’s border with Mali.
So far, no one has taken responsibility for laying the land mine.
