Kenya records 226 new coronavirus cases

Kenya’s Ministry of Health (MoH) on Friday announced that the country has registered 226 more positive Coronavirus cases. This brings the total tally of the country’s cases to 103,841.

75 more patients have recovered, 49 from the Home Based Isolation and Care while 26 are from various health facilities. the total recoveries are now 85,512.

Unfortunately six more patients succumbed to the disease bringing the total fatalities to 1,813.

This comes a day after the health ministry announced plans to unveil a new digital immunization records platform to be used for Covid_19 vaccination. Even as the country awaits the arrival of the Oxford/AstraZeneca Vaccines sometime the month of February.
