Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang says he takes no issue with his recent deployment on the left side on the Gunners’ attack.

The Gabonese star, made the remarks ahead of the Londoners’ clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on November 29, a game that comes as fans pile pressure on Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta to deploy his captain in the no. 9 role.

“I play everywhere, I don’t mind really, I really don’t mind,” quotes Aubameyang.

“Everyone knows where I prefer to play but this doesn’t matter because I prefer to have many options than just one.

Aubameyang has failed to find the back of the net since he scored a penalty against Manchester United on November 1.

The last time the Gabonese striker scored from open play was on October 22 against Rapid Wien in the UEFA Europa League.

Arsenal welcome Wolves at the Emirates as they try to change their fortunes in the Premier League.

The Londoners currently lie in 12th place with 13 points from nine games, having only scored nine times but conceded 10.
