Tunisian president pays official visit to Qatar

Tunisian President Kais Saied flew to Qatar on Saturday for an official state visit, said a presidency statement of Tunisia.

The visit comes in response to an invitation from Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Qatari news agency QNA reported.

Tamim and Saied will hold talks on Sunday focusing on ties between the two countries and issues of mutual interest, QNA added.
