After nearly 2 months of battling the Novel Coronavirus, China’s efforts are bearing fruit. Four provinces have lowered their response measures this week and the focus now is on economic recovery.

The World Health Organization characterised China’s response to the outbreak as: “A world standard in emergency response” and President Xi stressed unremitting efforts in the prevention and control of the disease, and coordinated efforts in advancing economic development

On this special edition of Talk Africa, CGTN anchor Beatrice Marshall sat down with His Excellency Wu Peng, China’s Ambassador to Kenya, to get his thoughts on the virus, lessons China has learnt in containing it and steps being taken towards economic recovery.
