Sudan’s former president Omar al-Bashir sits guarded inside a cage at the court where he is facing corruption charges in Khartoum [File: Mohamed Nureldin Abdallah/Reuters]Ousted Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir’s trial has been postponed to Aug. 31, according to an official statement.
The Sudanese army ousted al-Bashir on April 11 amid popular protests that erupted in December last year.
