The second leg of the Confederation Cup tie between Al Hilal and Etoile du Sahel has been postponed indefinitely.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) made the decision due to the security situation in Sudan.

The tie was scheduled to take place on April 14 at the Al Hilal Stadium in Omdurman.

CAF says the new time, kickoff and venue will be communicated to all parties.

Sudan was plunged into a security crisis following the removal of Omar al-Bashir from power by the military.

The country has been rocked by protests since December demanding Bashir’s resignation.

The country’s Defence minister announced a three-month state of emergency and closure of the country’s border crossings until further notice.
