China’s Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress Delegation is in the Kenyan capital Nairobi, for a three-day business visit and exchange program.

The team led by deputy secretary-general of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Jiangsu Province,Tang Jian arrived on Friday.

The visit seeks to boost bilateral ties, as well as promote an understanding of China’s Belt and Road Initiative. So far, the team members have visited China’s Xugong Group in the country one of the world’s best construction machinery company.

They also held discussions with the Eastern China Chamber of Commerce and the Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce in Kenya.
