Mozambican President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi arrived in Kenya on Wednesday to begin a three-day state visit which will see him hold talks with his counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta.
The visit is part of efforts by both leaders to enhance relations between their countries and review bilateral cooperation.
Nyusi was accompanied to Nairobi by a high level delegation including ministers.
The Mozambiccan delegation will meet a Kenyan one for discussions that are expected to culminate into signed agreements.
Among the expected topics of discussions include the removal of trade tariffs on goods circulating between the two countries.
