FOCAC: China-Africa medical cooperation since 1963

Chinese medical team members first arrived in Africa in 1963.

Since that time, Chinese and African medical teams have worked together in the fight against infectious diseases and saved millions of lives in the process.

But this teamwork is only a small part of a larger network of China-Africa medical cooperation.
