Cristiano Ronaldo headed to China for annual ‘CR7 tour’

Cristiano Ronaldo is heading to China for his annual CR7 Tour, just a few days after he was unveiled in Turin as a Juventus player.

The former Real Madrid forward has made frequent trips to Asia in recent years, where he meets his fans and further expands his colossal brand.

Ronaldo took to social media to alert his Chinese fans to expect him there.

Posing with his entourage in front of a plush, Nike-branded jet, Ronaldo looked to be in high spirits while preparing for yet another adventure.

The 33-year-old is set to be in for a hectic summer with sponsorship commitments before finally getting down to some pre-season training with his new club.

Ronaldo’s transfer to Juventus is reported to have cost £105 million, around £25 million more than the price Real Madrid paid Manchester United for the forward in 2009.

During his time in Madrid, Ronaldo won 2 La Liga titles, 2 Copa del Rey titles, 3 FIFA Club World Cups and four champions leagues.

He scored a club-record 451 goals and won the Ballon D’Or – awarded to the world’s best footballer – in 2008, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017.
