CAF president in Cote d’Ivoire on working visit

Confederations of African Football (CAF) president Ahmad Ahmad is on a working visit to Cote d’Ivoire.

Ahmad is expected to hold a series of meeting with top football officials in the country to discuss the development of the game.

He is also scheduled to meet Head of State Alassane Dramane Ouattara at the country’s State House in Abidjan.

Ahmad is accompanied on his trip by CAF 1st vice-president Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi.

The CAF chief’s visit to Cote d’Ivoire comes as the FIFA Professional Football was opened on Tuesday in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

The event will tackle topics including Club Licensing system, management of stadiums, formation of National Disputes Resolution Chamber among others.

CAF earlier on announces its final shortlist for the Player of the Year award.

Liverpool’s forwards Sadio Mane (Senegal) and Mohamed Salah (Egypt) are drawn against Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Gabon) for the coveted award.
