Kenya’s opposition leader due to announce post-polls strategy

Kenya’s opposition leader Raila Odinga is expected to make an important announcement later on Wednesday.

Initially Odinga had planned to address the public on Tuesday. But he delayed the briefing citing the complexity and importance of the issues at stake.

The opposition leader claims to have evidence of irregularities during last week’s elections. International and local observers have declared the vote free and fair.

Odinga lost to incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta. Kenyatta has urged his and Odinga’s supporters to unite for Kenya.
