In 2015 Nicholas Bett stunned the world by winning Kenya’s first global title in the 400m hurdles.
That gold medal at Beijing’s iconic Bird’s Nest stadium has inspired many young runners from the East African nation renowned for producing long distance athletes, that they too can excel in the sprints.
As Celestine Karoney reports, one of them is Raymond Kibet who is part of Kenya’s 400m team to the world championships in London.
