United States deports over 60 Ghanaians


At least 63 Ghanaians and 12 Liberians have been deported back home from the United states according to the US embassy in Accra, Ghana, reports Ghana News Agency.

“On Tuesday, June 13, and Wednesday, June 14, 2017, U,S Immigration and Customs Enforcement removed 63 Ghanaian nationals to Ghana and 12 Liberian nationals to Liberia in accordance with their final orders of removal,” read the statement released by the embassy.

The African citizens were removed from the United States for reasons such as overstaying their visas or committing crime while in the United States.

Trump administration has stated its resolve to deport undocumented foreigners, especially those with criminal records.
