Everton to be the first Premier League team to play in Tanzania, as the English football club is schedule to play against the winners of the inaugural SportPesa Super Cup on the 13th of July.
Everton will be playing the pre-season friendly as part of the Club’s preparations for the 2017/2018 season.
The game, which is part of the club’s new partnership with the giant gaming company SportPesa, will be held at the 60000 seater main stadium in Dar es Salaam Tanzania.
“The gaming giant has recently launched SportPesa Tanzania. Everton has been invited to play in the east African country to celebrate SportPesa’s expansion and to inspire the next generation of SportPesa Premier League and Ligu Kuu Bara stars,” said the statement by Everton.
