Kenyan Joyciline Jepkosgei breaks half marathon world record in Prague win

Kenya’s Joyciline Jepkosgei broke four world records as she stormed to victory at the Prague Half Marathon.

The 23-year-old completed what was just her fifth half marathon in one hour, four minutes and 52 seconds, 14 seconds quicker than the record set by Peres Jepchirchir earlier this year.

Enroute to her World Record breaking win, she also clocked splits of 30 minutes 05 seconds to break the 10km record.

She also set a new record for the  15 km mark clocking 45 minutes and 37 seconds. And registered a time of 1 hour 1 minute and 25 seconds to break the 20km world record.
