Fans of the Indomitable Lions left the stadium in Franceville delighted with the result and are already looking forward to Sunday’s final.
Fans celebrated by dancing and singing outside the stadium following the 2-0 win over Ghana, who were appearing in their sixth successive semi-final. Ghana will go on to meet Burkina Faso in the third-place playoff in Port-Gentil. For Cameroon, Sunday marks their first final in the tournament since Egypt beat them to the title in Accra in 2008.
However, the teams are confident of a win against the Pharaohs.
