Football fans in South Africa have expressed their frustration following the suspension of national football coach Shakes Mashaba.
The South African Football Association says it’s going to take disciplinary action against Mashaba after he criticised the organiation’s president Danny Jordaan during a media conference. The remarks followed South Africa’s win over Senegal in CAF World Cup qualifier last weekend. Following his suspension, the team registered a draw against Mozambique in an international friendly under the leadership of assistant coach Owen Da Gama.
The team is currently second in their World Cup qualifying group and face a real chance of sealing a ticket to Russia.
