Trump says Somali migrants are a danger in the US

United States Presidential candidate Donald Trump has warned Americans in Minneapolis city in Minnesota, in mid-western US of the danger being posed by Somali migrants, the largest Somali-American community in the US report the Guardian.

“Here in Minnesota, you’ve seen first-hand the problems caused with faulty refugee vetting, with very large numbers of Somali refugees coming into your state without your knowledge, without your support or approval,” the Republican nominee told a rally in the solidly Democratic state

Trump added that some Somalis are ‘joining ISIL and spreading their extremists views all over our country and all over the world’

Donald Trump has made warnings about refugees especially Syrians mostly. Trump said that if elected he will bar refugees from settling in places without the approval of local governments.

American security authorities have said that more than 30 young men from Minnesota have left to join ISIL or al Shabab in Somali. At least three Somali Americans along with other Americans pleaded guilty to trying to join the terror group ISIL in June this year.
