The win lifted Fenerbahce into Group A second place, same on points with leaders Feyenoord who have a better goal difference.
Manchester United now lie third in the group, with Zorya at fourth.
Qualification for the next stage remains in the Reds’ hands, but they will need to be more incisive against their next opponents.
