The Swedish striker netted a brace to secure Jose Mourinho an easy win in his first home game with Manchester United.
Southampton had won at Old Trafford in their last two visits, and pundits saw this as the perfect game to start the process of instilling the fear factor back to the red devils home ground.
Ibrahimovic now leads the top scorers’ chart with three goals in two matches, and Manchester United fans are already tipping him to lead them to league success this season.
Pogba, the world’s most expensive footballer, played his first game for the Red Devils since his £93.2m move from Italy’s Juventus.
Pogba started the match in a holding midfield role, but moved further forward as the game progressed.
Manchester United fans now definitely have far more to cheer about this season as the team looks more gelled and sharper compared to last season under Louis van Gaal.
