Julius Yego of Kenya recorded the longest javelin throw in 14 years and won Kenya’s first ever medal in Javelin.
The new world champion threw a blistering 92.72 meters to win his first world championship gold medal and also set a new Kenyan, African and commonwealth record in the process.
