Uganda is reinforcing its capacity to curb the rise in illegal wildlife poaching. The country’s tax body recently announced its formulating a specialized unit to further tighten its grip especially at the country’s border points.Officials from the Revenue Authority have in the recent past intercepted tonnes of elephant tusks from suspected traffickers raising the need to clamp down on the worrying illegal trade.
