The United Nations is calling on government to reconsider its order to close down the biggest refugee camp in the world.
The Dadaab camp is home to hundreds of thousands of Somalis.
The UN warns closing down the camp and sending refugees home will have, ‘’extreme humanitarian and practical consequences’’.
Kenya at the weekend gave the UN three months to close down the camp as part of its measures to boost security in Kenya.
This comes after Somali militants attack the Garissa University College on Kenyan soil, killing at least 148 people, mostly students.
The UNHCR runs the Dadaab camp, and says it is ready to work with Kenya to boost security.
