Africa’s Perception of Gaza Crisis

Staying on events in Gaza, some analysts are pointing out Africa’s largely muted response to this crisis. It has oscillated between lukewarm condemnation and outright in-deference. Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe, in a bare knuckled offensive, accused the West of applying double standards to the conflict. Egypt’s role as a mediator has been met with skepticism from those, who feel it has one agenda to weaken the Hamas. And as CCTV’S Jane Kiyo reports, experts say Africa’s silence maybe as a result of other factors at play.
