The African Union has welcome the release of the remaining four detainees in South Sudan saying the release will help the talks in Addis Ababa to advance in the right direction. President Salva Kiir said he made the decision to release the four political detainees for the sake of national peace and reconciliation. The released politicians have pledged to help restore peace in South Sudan.
