Simon Magakwe has become the first South African to run under ten seconds in the 100 meters. Simon managed to run at a local time of 9.98 and now has his sights set on breaking the African record of 9.85 and claiming a medal at the Commonwealth Games. Despite accomplishing such a feat Simon is far from satisfied as he believes he can go much faster than that as the season develops. He attributes his success with training with the 100 meters World record holder Usain Bolt.
