Jamaican sprint icon Usain Bolt yesterday won his second gold medal of the ongoing Rio Olympic Games, winning the men’s 200 meters in an impressive time of 19.78 seconds.

Bolt now boasts of eight Olympic gold medals cumulatively.

Canada’s Andre de Grasse finished second as France’s Christophe Lemaitre came third.

Bolt, 29, won his first Rio Olympics gold medal by coming first in the men’s 100 meters race.

The Jamaican still has one more race to go, and is hoping to make it a treble of gold medals at the end of it all. He is set to compete in the 4×100 meters relay final to be held early Saturday.

Bolt is aiming to match his achievement at the Beijing and London Olympic games when he won the 100 meters, 200 meters and the 4×100 meters relay races.
