The Russian plane crash mystery continues to deepen as the wife of the co-pilot on Sergy Trukhacheva says that her husband had complained about the technical condition of the aircraft.

Natlya is confident that her husband is not responsible for the crash and would have done everything to land the plane that crashed in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula on Saturday. An Egyptian government official also said that the pilot radioed in to report technical problems but the Russian airline has insisted that the aircraft was in good shape.

Four groups of rescuers have searched remote areas of search today with the area searched standing at 28 square kilometres. Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry organised two nights’ flights that delivered bodies and body parts of passengers and crew members from Cairo to St. Petersburg. Russia’s airliner, Metrojet’s Airbus A321-200 was coming from Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh headed to St. Petersburg when it crashed and killed all 224 people.
